KIM is one talented cat. The producer/drummer/programmer and one half of The Presets has been getting remixed of late. Tomboy’s take is my favourite. Modular Records is set to release a series of limited edition KIM 12″s in the coming months. Definately worth a purchase.

One of our favorite Australians, KIM from the Presets, adds his signature acidy, electroy twist to “Flamingo.” The mystery of the original is kept, but KIM turns up the heat.

So It’s been about a week since all the madness began. Too much crazy shit happened. We were pretty much the only ones representing every band with a dance routine. Most DJ’s don’t even support each other and most of them play the same shit. Bands rule, and rocking out drunk from noon until 2am for five days in a row pretty much kicks ass, and then it kicks your ass once you go back home. We had a blast and can’t wait to go again next year. Thanks to all the great DJ’s and bands that showed their love to the BigStereo family. In particular thanks to Spektrum, DJ Omar, Peaches, Johnny Love, DJ DJ Dylan, Franki Chan, Daniel, Yo Majesty, that awesome cab driver with the English accent from Texas, Cheyne, Nathan, Katrina, Walter Meego, Greg, Lo Fi Fnk, Lazaro, Factory People, and the rest of you that said hello or tried to dance. A Big fuck you to UV Vodka and Monster for the bad hang overs.
