You already know Toxic Avenger for their epic “Superheroes” and the trillion, billion, gazillion remixes they’ve done over the past year or so… but IHEARTCOMIX just dropped their must have, much anticipated debut twelve inch. ANNNNND to celebrate the boys, along with Franki Chan, are headed across the country dropping into as many cities as possible to show how it’s did. As we mentioned earlier, BIGSTEREO is playing host to Toxic Avenger this Saturday in San Franscico, but if you’re not in the Bay Area then no fear — they’re likely headed to a city near you soon.

So It’s been about a week since all the madness began. Too much crazy shit happened. We were pretty much the only ones representing every band with a dance routine. Most DJ’s don’t even support each other and most of them play the same shit. Bands rule, and rocking out drunk from noon until 2am for five days in a row pretty much kicks ass, and then it kicks your ass once you go back home. We had a blast and can’t wait to go again next year. Thanks to all the great DJ’s and bands that showed their love to the BigStereo family. In particular thanks to Spektrum, DJ Omar, Peaches, Johnny Love, DJ DJ Dylan, Franki Chan, Daniel, Yo Majesty, that awesome cab driver with the English accent from Texas, Cheyne, Nathan, Katrina, Walter Meego, Greg, Lo Fi Fnk, Lazaro, Factory People, and the rest of you that said hello or tried to dance. A Big fuck you to UV Vodka and Monster for the bad hang overs.

Hey! BIGSTEREO is a co-sponsor for Check Yo’ Pony Tail’s Lo-Fi-Fnk show in L.A. We’re huge fans of the Lo-Fi-Fnk… kinda strange that this is our first Lo-Fi-Fnk related post. The night also includes The Young Knives and dj sets by Snowden, Franki Chan and Paparazzi.
