Oh okay I know “Don’t Mess” is kind of no secret but the video totally slipped by me — Juvelen plus Dom Dugliga equals a formula for love.

Montreal’s NROTB are back with a mixtape presented by Off The Hook. Here’s your chance to hear their yet unreleased Numero# remix.
There are some huge tracks on this one — some we’ve posted before, some I could only wish to post…

Malente is ready to let his recent unreleased Foals remix onto the world. This is one of those mixes you gotta wonder why the record label didn’t want to line their pockets with… but ah well. FUN:
Foals - “Electric Ballroom” (Malente remix)
And make sure you add Berlin Battery to your bookmarks for Malente’s exclusive weekly re-edit or remix.
Twin Crystals - “Two Girls” from Salazar on Vimeo.
Dandilion Wind Opaine of Dandi Wind fame just finished up the video direction for “Two Girls” by Vancouver’s Twin Crystals. Twin Crystals was easily one of my favorite acts at one of my favorite nights of SXSW 2008.

I’ve got a fair few remixes of BMX in my inbox. Firstly Christopher Robin (who I’ve posted before on Bigstereo) and secondly Hyperbole (one of my favourite Australian blogs) has sent me 2 from his different alias’s High School Prom and Bond Theme. Expect more BMX remixes soon.
BMX – “War” (Christopher robin remix)

So we haven’t posted as many mixes as before which I miss while I’m at work or I’m getting ready. I might have to jump on the bandwagon and become a DJ to create my own mixes. But in the meanwhile I got this mix from our good friends Gabe Vega and Saul Q (pronounced SA-OHL, not SAL) from San Diego as they continue on their Volumes voyage as Feel The Noise. Here we have Vol. 3 which doesn’t disappoint one bit. The one thing that I love about them is that they pick songs that you can sing along to, even when they DJ, I love to be able to get excited over someone’s voice and scream the lyrics in a drunk haze on the dance floor.
Oh and they are gonna be giving away Feel The Noise CD’s and shirts tonight in San Diego at U31, where I would be in I was still in SD :(
Ladyhawke - “Dusk Till Dawn” (YouTube)
All our favorite horror movies guest star in the new Keith Schofield directed video for Ladyhawke’s “Dusk Till Dawn.” Watch out for the Ghostface Killah cameo. Amusing, at the least.

Thieves Like Us is back with a new EP called Your Heart Feels. The title track follows in the melodic dl pop vibe you have come to expect. The repetitiveness of their lyrics draws me in each time — there’s something mantra-ish about their songs even though their subject matter is rarely mantra-ish; or maybe it is.
Thieves Like Us - “Your Heart Feels”
Your Heart Feels EP comes out August 15th and can be picked up at iTunes, Beatport or your favorite vinyl shop.
Even more exciting: the Thieves’ album is close to release — look for it this October.

Oh man Herve the man with million aliases is back as Action Man and a new EP. Teasing all us fanboys — as usual — is a three track sampler to get your palette all wet for the real thing. The sampler includes “Alarm Bell”, “Under Your Skin” and “Zombie Dance.” Look for it out on Cheap Thrills:
Grand Popo Football Club - “Territory” (YouTube)
The original version of Grand Popo Football Club’s “Territory” is rad. The video is radder. Joakim’s remix is even radder. I want to spend the last days of summer listening to this song/video/remix on repeat. And I need to run out and create some last minute summer memories to this one because it deserves to be my summer jam.
You’re gonna have to search high and low for this one on import — or hope that appears up on Beatport someday soon. But as you can tell from the crappy bitrate below the search will be worth it:
Grand Popo Football Club - “My Territory” (Joakim Vocal remix)

Had this post drafted for too long, but Travis just posted Canyons’ remix of Ladyhawke so now I have no excuse keeping it a draft. Melbourne’s duo of Canyons is making me sexually aroused. “Apples and Pears” by Canyons is a favourite tune of mine. I’ve been listening to it to death.
Here’s “Big City Lights” off their Lovemore EP:

Sydney’s Like Woah! is back with their second release on Bang Gang 12 Inches. “RAW/WAR” follows in the same tradition as their now classic “Oh I Like” release with each track on the release being a total gem.
“RAW/WAR” is out on August 20th. Obviously, you don’t need me to tell you that this one is a must have. The other tracks “Discombobulator” and “Girls Sing” are total party and send the EP in a bit of a different direction than “O.S.O.F.” So good.
And here are a couple unreleased remixes by the duo for ZZT and Damn Arms. Both killer but that ZZT mix is extra special:
New Santogold vid for “Lights Out” — Santi White directed by Whitey McConnaughy (who also did The Gossip’s “Listen Up”).
Are Santogold’s back up singers like Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Girls? Does she take them shopping and do they do girl things together? Does she let them talk? They’re like, everywhere.
