Brand new video for “Click Shaw”, definitely one of my favorite tracks from their awesome album “Time Incredible” that is out now. The video has a Paranormal Activity feel to it and the creepy yet sexy feel it has really portrays the band as a whole. Really looking forward to more from these guys.
Tenderlions are finally getting off of their asses and putting some more tracks out. They just released their new EP “In 3D” and are ready to unleash the beast. I know we’ve been pussying out on you guys a bit, and posting some more artsy fartsy stuff but this is for all my bromance’s at the brodeo. I still got you. This is 8-bit on Mountain Dew. Get ready for these San Francisco cats to purr up your girlfriends skirts.
Something good is coming out of San Diego, again! Raw Moans are doing something for this city that was long overdue. The romantic and pill popping encouraging sound is making me try to crack my back for a quick LSD flashback. I hear bedroom eyes, if that is possible. Here is one of their tracks that is on their new new new new new EP that they are releasing on their own titled “We Want It Beautiful Not Real”. I asked for a promo copy and these homo punks said they’re so limited they aren’t even releasing promo copies, so grab one before they are gone by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org. I am vowing to only post music I can fuck to from now on.
So Fare Soldi paid us once again, another 100,000 dollars to post up one of their tracks. These guys have it going right now, their “Duck Sauce” remix is all over the blogosphere and now this remix has even the most critical retards shutting the fuck up. I’ve always been a huge fan of these guys and the wonderful thing is that they are always consistent and always add the wonderful Italian flare we’ve always admired. The track is dance floor ready and might be one of the few exceptions to sunglasses on the dance floor.
In Flagranti have reworked classic Frankie Goes to Hollywood tune Relax into a dark club chugger. Zoolander……
Really been digging the Freedom or Death self titled EP. It includes this song which was inspired by the wonderful short film by Spike Jonze. Check out the video if you’ve never seen it and check out the band for more indie electrified gems.
San Diego’s own Jamuel Saxon is back with album number two entitled “Landmines + Chandeliers” and is letting us give it away for FREE! Come and get it here. It’s full of glitchy and fuzzy tracks that aim to please fans of such bands like Figurine, The Postal Service, and other nerd core romance bands. Go check him out at El Dorado on Thursday if you’re in San Diego.
I’ve been loving El Guincho so much lately and his new album ‘Pop Negro’ is absolutely lovely. Love the spanish lyrics and tropical vibe. It’s so fucking hot here too, this is perfect. I just need a margarita.
Warning NSFW, unless you have a cool perky boss that gets art.
If you read us then you know I have a soft spot for The Crayon Fields. Probably releasing one of the most played albums by me in 2010, I’ve been sharing my love for them to anyone with good taste. I am now excited as can be to be DJ’ing a short sweet set for their live show here in San Diego. Check them out if you can near you and make sure to bring a romantic date. I would suggest going to download their free tour EP here too. Here’s a track from it titled “How Loved You Are” and check below for tour dates.

Horse Meat Disco is at it again. This time with their new delicious comp titled simply “Horse Meat Disco II”. I was introduced to these guys through my sexy as hell and crush worthy friends Honey Soundsystem and I have been obsessed since. Throwing some of the coolest disco parties currently and befriending some of the hippest disco nerds around, these guys are bringing these sounds back to the masses. The amount of energy spewed off on their sets are the kind that aren’t forgotten. Check them out as they are coming to a town near you. Check out the show in San Francisco pictured above. You will not regret it and forget your intuition.
Some new stuff from Italian disco king Bottin! This time under his new moniker Tinpong taking the ‘tin’ from Bottin and ‘pong’ from Swiss vocalist Joy Freypong. Tinpong tackle Duran Duran classic New Religion for their first release and its a 140 bpm jam! Look forward to more music from Tinpong indeed.
I’m only doing this as a D.A.M.B. favor, cause I think this guy is super cool and a compa at heart. In all honesty he’s grown a lot from the beginning of us posting his stuff up on BigStereo and his new tracks bring limbo and lambada to the future weirdos. Expect bigger things from this guy, if he doesn’t get too lazy or big headed. By the way he’s too pretentious to let us give away his new “hit single”, so here’s the D.A.M.B. soundcloud bullshit we all hate. I love you Shaun.
GhostWaves has been getting a lot of play at the office and is the perfect end to summer. Dream pop never sounded so good. His remixes are extraordinarily fuzzy and loving. Is it possible to crush on a song? From his bedroom dancing ready remix of “Boyfriend” by much love and hated Best Coast to his contagious solo material Ghostwaves is a force to be on the look out for. I couldn’t be more excited to see the leaves turn.
Promise I’ll be better this week. Got a lot of catching up to do. Thanks for the hate mail.
San Diego come to this tomorrow night! It’s going to be so good.
