Ah, the Damn Arms boys have done it again… they’ve created a surprising disco-pop remix of Cut Copy’s “Far Away.” It’s quite a leap from the Damn Arms songs and G.L.O.V.E.S. remixes we’ve grown accustomed too — but still makes sense at the same time.

“Thor” is a fantastic song and completely caught me off guard, the first time I heard the Sleaze play this out I wanted to know who it was and almost didn’t believe he was responsible for the madness. I expected more banger and not such a classic dance hit feel, take a listen and get away from all this madness!!!!

It’s been a few years since we last posted anything new from Circlesquare… kinda blipped off our radar for a bit. Well, since then Circlesquare has moved from Vancouver to Berlin and hooked up with !K7 records to release his full length album. “Dancers” is the first single and reminds me of why I fell in love the first time around — mix of dark, atmospheric lyrics mixed with some brooding sounds. “Dancers” is less chaotic and noisy then his former “Fight Sounds” but there’s a similar theme going on…

Heads We Dance are delivering their new single this November 21st. And let’s be dorks and admit that “The Human Touch” is an ode to what we’re all really searching for… robots or not. Shed a tear. The track starts out wonderfully melodic and then explodes into a pure bombastic banger. Thematically Daft Punk must be an influence, but Head We Dance pulls it all off without sounding like a Daft Punk rip off.
