Before we get called out for nepotism, Mitzi bandmember Jad Lee blogs frequently for Bigstereo. We’re not posting Mitzi because Jad posts here but rather because this is a super solid release. If Mitzi sucked we would’ve told Jad to jog on. But that’s not the case. Let your ears decide.

Mitzi is made up of members of BMX, Comic Sans, Charlie Why! and The Gallery Kiss and is seeing its first release on Australia label Future Classic. “India” sums up the band’s sound — super chill disco with a dash of indie. Sounds something like the energy of Holy Ghost! mixed with a less edgy Echoes era Rapture but with a distinct Australian twist. Love.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful (because this is fucking amazing), but will BMX ever release a full-length album? Or provide me any way to throw money at them and download their songs? Because I want to make it rain on BMX.

In other words? I just heard "Could Be Magic" today, and I need to get my ears on an MP3.
