Gimme Um

When Damn Arms ended I think anyone who had seen them live cried a little inside. I’ve tried to remain positive about the situation, and Yama has brought me joy through his musical output Gloves. Now it’s Tim Sullivan’s turn to turn the frown upside down. Tim has been living in Japan for awhile now and has been making music under the name Das Moth and the music is fantastic. There will be some Das Moth releases later in the year on Cut Copy’s Cutters records. Have a listen to some of the tunes over on his Myspace. Tim has also started a Japanese thrash / punk outfit named Gimme Um which I’m really loving. I have a couple of originals and reworks by Tim himself and Brisbane based friends Rio Lobotomy who are slowly building a name for themselves. Enjoy!
