Pictureplane – “True Ruin Light Body” Kate Moross is putting out the new Pictureplane single on her Isomorph label. Like all Moross projects, the visual overwhelm the audio, but really, there are not enough hearts in the world for Pictureplane.

Gotta be honest straight out the gate: Crystal Fighters is one of my favorite bands today. Perhaps top three. And some more honesty: I can’t say I appreciate French Fries. So I am entirely torn about French Fries remixing Crystal Fighters and being totally objective is about impossible. Biggest fear is that French Fries remix [...]

Ali Love has been teasing us for months with new songs and remixes without an album in sight. But the wait is not too much longer — in fact, the album is in sight and we’re looking at August 2nd for it to drop. “Smoke & Mirrors” is the lead in single and features this [...]

When Damn Arms ended I think anyone who had seen them live cried a little inside. I’ve tried to remain positive about the situation, and Yama has brought me joy through his musical output Gloves. Now it’s Tim Sullivan’s turn to turn the frown upside down. Tim has been living in Japan for awhile now [...]

Zero 7 is reaching ten years and to mark the milestone the dudes are releasing a “best of” compilation with a bonus disc of remixes. With Sia on vocals, “Destiny” is already one of the duos biggest hits, but the heat is turned way up with this Fred Falke remix. The track has gone from [...]

Polish off your disco shoes because we have another one from Big Stereo favs Jump Jump Dance Dance. Like all JJDD tracks, Bit Funk’s remix should have you moving straight to the middle of the dance floor and drenching in sweat by the time the five minutes are up. Top it off with a cowbell [...]

Good news! Cocknbullkid didn’t drop off the planet! Anita has just been busy working on her debut album! And even better news — she’s back with a new single, self titled at that! Much heavier production than we’re used to on a Cocknbullkid track but I guess she’s taken the leap from bedroom producer to [...]

Housse De Racket’s “Oh Yeah” is getting a second life with not one but two remix EPs in the UK (digital Worldwide, of course) from Kuskus Records. Baby Monster takes out “Sur Le Papier” on the second EP with a playful, cut up remix that stops, starts and stutters. Less synth heavy than we’d expect [...]

We’ve given “Your Body Is A Machine” a lot of love lately, and if I do say, with good reason. Such a stand out pop track. The Aspirins For My Children takes The Good Natured to an edgier, more chaotic place with a bit more of a live band sound, but it’s Sarah McIntosh quirky, [...]

Photography/Illustration credit Chloe Nour Australia’s Aeons just released a new EP featuring the production work of Diamond Cut. Aeons show off four new slick, future jams that don’t shy away from the drama. It’s not on the EP, but we have a remix of the title track from Ted of Ted & Francis fame. Ted [...]
