Cassette Kids

Cassette Kids have been an Australian staple for a minute or two, but the band is stepping out from down under and making their London debut in a couple weeks. They’re ready to take on the world and be billed as Australia’s great new export. “Lying Around” is a catchy pop tune that stirs up a little bit of The Sounds vs. Gwen Stefani. Sharam Jey makes the track a bit more club friendly by fucking around with the vocals.

It’s almost too poppy for me, but the Sharam Jey remix jump off in the clubs. ya know I like them both for what they are…good music. Ken_UF

original has such a great hook, sounds like a really clean production job..maybe too clean? either way, really good. this Sharam Jey remix sounds like the Bloody Beetroots when they were good, so in other words this remix is a beastly sound..
