The Glamour
25 January 2010 :: posted by Travis
It’s been a minute or two since we last posted anything new from The Glamour — ok, more than a minute or two or even three. But they’re back big time with a cover of Daft Punk’s “Robot Rock” which landed as a b-side to their “Love Burn” single out on Cheap Thrills. Tough shoes to fill but they take on the classic and are not afraid to make it all their own.

Wasn’t ‘Robot Rock’ pretty much a cover as well?

it sampled “Release the Beast” but not exactly a cover in the traditional sense… correct me if i’m wrong.

Robot Rock wasn’t a cover by Daft Punk it just used the above mentioned song. But this remix by The Glamour ticks a few boxes.
