Jump Jump Dance Dance is back with a follow up to what was one of the most popular songs on BIGSTEREO in 2009. We love JJDD, You love JJDD, and so does Grum apparently as he as remixed “Show Me The Love” which is technically the band’s debut single. Grum turns out a pretty nice [...]

In lieu of all of the Justice bullshit that’s been going around and the confirmed fake song that was released yesterday, we should concentrate on the Christina Aguilera debacle that’s spreading. I didn’t really think I wanted to post on this matter at all, but after smoking pot and watching all of this go down [...]

Japayork – “Our Now” Japayork is someone you will want to pay attention to. Not only is he a talented artist, but he also make delicious pop that is a bit easy to fall in love with — “Our Now” is his lead single with an animated video he created himself. Nice.

I had the great surprise and luck to catch the wonderful Carla Morrison playing at a show here in San Diego. I had never heard of her before and had no idea what to expect. Everyone was talking around and having their drinks, when out of nowhere we hear claps and an old school casio. [...]

It’s been a minute or two since we last posted anything new from The Glamour — ok, more than a minute or two or even three. But they’re back big time with a cover of Daft Punk’s “Robot Rock” which landed as a b-side to their “Love Burn” single out on Cheap Thrills. Tough shoes [...]

U.S. Delphic fans will be sad no more, as the band is releasing an exclusive U.S. only single on Modular this March. Think of it as the Delphic primary as it’s a focus on “This Momentary” and “Counterpoint.” To celebrate the release the boys did a Modcast as well as this stellar remix of Phoenix’s [...]

Le Microkosmos is a pair of dudes from one of my favorite cities in the world, Buenos Aires. They are getting huge down there and are being noticed all around the globe by internet savvy nerds looking for the next big thing. Some of their songs get down and dirty yet some tracks have heart [...]

So Shifty is killin’ it. Their remix of “Number One” (available at Discobelle) got my attention in a hurry, and their more recent productions have only kept me begging for more. Luckily the gents over at Crossfaded Bacon seem to like So Shifty just as much as I – they’ve just released the lads’ Wine [...]

SQZMYLMNS has sent us a new track that has me dancing like I’m at a Tijuana club and full of Tequila. They busted out the whomper on this one and added some trumpets and accordion for good measure. Halfway through the song you even get the Cuba Libre spins. These two guys are up to [...]

Sharam Jey’s In My Blood album has dropped and as you can expect there are numerous remixes going around. Army Men which features Cornelia on vocals has got a reworking by Arthur Baker. It’s tough and dark and is a nice slant from the original. [Audio clip: view full post to listen] Sharam Jey ft. [...]

Austinites Missions just handed us their new track “Wavelength” — a dark, post-dance track which hints at Pictureplane, but perhaps a whole lot more “chill” and a bit more serious. But more importantly, the distortion and synth and filtered vox are in all the right places. Very, very promising… [Audio clip: view full post to [...]
