The XX + Vitaminsforyou

The XX seem to be very flavour of the month, and there’s no doubt going to be a stack of people doing covers. Canada’s Vitaminsforyou has done a brilliant mellow electronic version of “Shelter.” Soothing stuff.

1. Not as good as the original IMO. I read The xx have have teamed up with ‘best director’ award winner Samm Farahmand to create a 3D experience utilising film, light and sound via three specially created audio-visual units. There’s an article about it here http://bit.ly/8qTfMD

   This one is definitely darker, but a really nice take on the original.
