21 October 2009 :: posted by TravisGiana Factory is a new band out of Copenhagen — you may recognize lead singer Loui Foo as the sister of the Raveonettes’ Sharin Foo. She replaced her briefly on tour when Sharin was preggers. But no worries: Giana Factory is not the Raveonettes part two. While there is a bit of a retro feeling to their music and art direction, the band comes across as completely contemporary and, maybe even more important, as a unique sound that is not relying on current trends — whatever they are this minute.
“Bloody Game” is kind of a dark love song about lovers exploring each others body parts in an unexpected way, though certainly shouldn’t be taken literal. I hope. So good:
