Housse de Racket’s “Synthétiseur” has been creating quite the stir the past few months. In true Gonzo style, Gonzales did a complete piano makeover of “Synthétiseur” — this is Housse de Racket unplugged right up until that electric guitar kicks in at the end. Totally unreleased in digital or physical formats, hear it for the very first time right here:

The remix ep is available on iTunes with remixes from Van She, Mixhell, The Teenagers and Das Glow. 50 Bones is releasing a special 7 inch with “Synthétiseur” / “Sur le Papier” on October 26th.

Housse de Racket is also about to set off on tour with Does It Offend You, Yeah? in the UK. The pair is giving away 30 copies of a special mixtape to lucky concert goers. Side A: Funky is below for your listening pleasure, but you’ll have to win a copy of the tape at a show to hear Side B: Gloomy.
