G.L.O.V.E.S., or now just Gloves, “long” awaited debut single is out on Bang Gang! Rejoice. The title track “PYX” is backed by remixes from Strip Steve, Golden Bug and Ben Browning. But the killer track is b-side “Too Much To Dream.” Sounds like something Daft Punk might make if they were men instead of robots… Gloves has nailed that dreamy filter sound but made it his own as well. Helps that it has that worn feeling like your favorite record that is losing its groove because you’ve played it so much. Anyway, quite the departure from the hard synths of his Damn Arms days.
