Little Boots + Disco Bloodbath

Another stellar remix from Disco Bloodbath — this time for Little Boot’s new single “Remedy.” Disco Bloodbath pushes out a remix that is a little less Lady Gaga and takes Boots back to her indie club roots. Basically RedOne’s bombastic production is totally stripped away, and you’re left with something a bit more straight forward. Sounds like the early days of Ms. Boots. Give it a few minutes to build up because there are some real magical moments in this remix:

Boot’s kaleidoscope video for “Remedy” totally steals back my heart. Wish the video for “New In Town” wasn’t such a dud and had caught some of this magic. I’ll shoot myself in the face if this song doesn’t play well on American Top 40 radio:

i hated little boots right from the start , like 1 1/2 years ago. oh how original/new to feature prisms and geometric objects in your video / triangles and stars on your shitty cover. whoproduced that shit, its awful. joe hotchip? the remix is like 600 times better.
