Kid Bombardos

When I first heard Kid Bombardos’ “I Round the Bend,” a barrage of images flashed through my mind. Here was a beautiful, tranquil song; thus, an avalanche of similarly beautiful, tranquil scenes – open fields on sunny days, fresh powder on a snowy day, Zooey Deschanel anywhere at any time – filled my head. What most certainly did not come into view was crime-ridden boxing matches. Which, naturally, is what the Bombardos boys have chosen to use as the scene for their video for the track.
