Wolf Gang + Disco Bloodbath

Disco Bloodbath add another winner to their remix arsenal. Bloodbath’s remix of “Pieces of You” builds it up slowly and never quite brings you over the edge but rather leaves you full like a good meal. And thankfully it never loses sight of Wolf Gang in the mix. Lovelovelove the use of guitar in this remix; kinda hoping guitar is making a comeback but not really holding my breath.

I originally read “remix of ‘Pieces of Me’” and immediately thought Ashlee Simpson. For some reason, I’m oddly disappointed by the truth exposed by a closer look (not to say that this track isn’t good).

lyrics sound a bit like brian ferry circa 1989, and i don’t mena that in a bad way.
