Thunderheist + Futurecop!
21 June 2009 :: posted by Travis
Futurecop! recently took on Thunderheist with an unofficial remix for “Nothing 2 Step 2.” Futurecop! creates a thick dreamwave track by replacing a lot of the boom of the original with drops of synth. You can almost hear the neon.

Sounds like Anoraak to me… and this is a very good thing as far as the instrumental goes. Not sure if it’s working with the vocals, but I’m feeling it.

I hate to say it but no comparison to anoraak. Futurecop! have been getting more and more untidy with their work! I’ve been a fan since before they were blogged but after hearing a few dj sets they released and a couple of remixes, they seem to be going downhill. :(

this is garbage – poor production, no imagination, and the worse vox i’ve heard in a while. this shouldn’t even be put in the same sentence as anoraak.
