Yes I know this has been all over the blogs, but I thought I would share this officially with the BigStereo dudes and dudettes. It’s a cover by Yelle of Robyn’s “Whose that Girl” and Robyn covers “A Cause Des Garcons” which does not translate well to english. Check it out, it’s part of the ITunes Foreign Exchange. Yelle’s version of this Robyn track is excellent and sounds better than the original in my opinion.

i think this is a very candid picture a fan took, not anything to be cool. they are not only built on image and publicity. i have talked to yelle and she is a very normal girl, we are not talking about britney spears here, take a deep breath.

i love the fact that music has become less about looks and more about the music, like back in the 60s and 70s, and come on, we’re in the post-reality-show-people-want-to-see-normal era.
