Dan Black – “Symphonies”

Dan Black has been making heads turn the world over with his Biggie/not-Biggie “HYPNTZ”/”Symphonies” song. The track was originally recorded as a cover but Black had to rewrite the lyrics due to issues with B.I.G.’s estate. With or without Biggie the song is totally catchy. Anyway “Symphonies” not only received the Passion Pit make-over but it now has a video to provide imagery. Love the movie influences. Hm, name them all.

3. Although the beat is nothing special, I think his vocals and lyrical style will take him very far. Also he kind of reminds me of Dennis from “It’s always sunny in Philly.”
