Oh Grum. In a lot of ways Grum sounds like how electro “should” sound: all the right pulses and distortions, lyrics that don’t really matter, etc, etc. The problem with “Sound Reaction” is just that though — it’s how it “should” sound. 5th, 6th, 7th generation is tough. All the sonic ups and downs are there, but we’ve already been on this roller coaster. Needless to say, “Sound Reaction” is good for what it is:

The real goods are in The Revolving Eyes’ remix though — takes the track and pushes it straight from 2006 to 2009. You know, electro laced with disco that’s more about a melody than making your teeth shatter. Relevant but could have a little more soul/life. Regardless a nice effort:
