Is every song about sex still? This still sounds like 2001-2004-era electroclash as well, and my bets are that electroclash is not coming back. Electroclash artists releasing music now doesn’t mean the kids, or those of us around when electroclash was the shit, will dig it enough to say it’s come back. All signs are pointing to a mellower disco-influenced sound, which contrasts with simplistic, shock-dependent (“hey boring indie kids…sex, makeup, drugs, sex, boo!”), electroclash and aggressive blog house.
