Circlesquare + Russ Chimes + Anoraak

Russ Chimes and Anoraak have taken on Circlesquare’s “Dancers” and turned it into singature dreamwave. The juxtaposition of Jeremy Shaw’s dark wave-ish vocals against Russ Chimes and Anoraak’s sweeping and layered synths may take some time getting used to though. It’s certainly not typical of the genre, but it is a welcoming remix and a welcoming direction:

1. On a personal level, I think this mix makes the song ten times better, but you know I have a huge boner for anything Anoraak does. The original wasn’t something I’d listen to on my own time, but I did enjoy the video.

   • I love how raw the original is. theres a really sharp tension throughout the entire thing, but this is way more pop.

     I can appreciate both. the album is amazing, i looove “Hey You Guys”.

3. I am all about the original, the minimalist sound of it, really got my attention. The video was just beautiful. I think the remix is a bit over worked, but I still enjoy it for what it is, still like the original much better.
