Marina & The Diamonds is one of my favorite artists to emerge this year — only two months into 2009, and this is already post number 3. Yikes! But we have two more remixes of “Obsessions” and both are wonderful for different reasons. The Gold Panda remix is my fav of the bunch… but I dunno, each take on this song is ace.

Marina & The Diamonds have captured my heart. Her haunting voice and simple, yet very effective melodies have embedded themselves deep into the pleasure center of “what’s good”. One of the few gems that make me proud to be alive in this day and age of music.
