Little Boots + AC Slater + Skeet Skeet + Goldielocks
5 February 2009 :: posted by Travis
AC Slater and DJ Skeet Skeet mix up “Meddle” by playing off the bounce of the original track. But it is Goldielocks’ party rap line over the track which makes this one super special. Kinda funny that both Treasure Fingers’ remix and Baron von Luxxury’s remix of “Meddle” also add extra vox — “Meddle” must just be begging to be meddled with. Or something. Anyway.

Reminder: Little Boots “Arecibo” EP is out on IAMSOUND: iTunes linky.
And here’s Little Boots performance of “Meddle” on BBC2’s Later with Jools Holland this past fall. The YouTube uploader calls Boots “post nu rave” — are those the times we’re living in?

Skeet is the s**t! Especially that “A Milli” remix. You should also check out my boys, Nerve and DJ Arkitekt a new group out of Minneapolis that performs a hip-hop indie rock fusion with an album set drop this summer. Having opened for national acts like Muja Messiah and Eyedea, Nerve and DJ Arkitekt are ready to win over new listeners every day.
