La Roux – “In For The Kill”

Oh look, it’s La Roux driving a car… like she’s going back to the future or something. The video is kinda pointless (disappointing even) but the song makes up for all that, of course. The single will be released on Polydor on March 16th. If you know who’s on remix duty please leave a comment, kthanx.

1. Out of all the artists who can potentially be overhyped this year, I’m rooting for La Roux. Her voice is so weird, to the point that I’m almost annoyed, but in the end I’m just amazed.

5. Can’t say I’m a big fan. There’s something catchy about it, but not enough to overcome just how annoying it is.

   I listened to the 12″ at the record shop the other day and wasn’t exactly impressed.

   In saying that, I’m sure it will appeal to some.
