Subtropics is a project by three sets of Brazilian duos: Discobot, Mottorama and Superpose. Basically each band recorded a song and then the other two bands each remixed the track. Lots of threes. And in true Brazil fashion, the album is available for free download on the Subtropics MySpace!

The groups lend themselves well to each other blending their styles into a final cohesive, melting pot of an album… bangers, disco, pop, electro and new wave. It’s all here. My only complaint is that the Subtropics isn’t a super-band on its own, but ah well.
