Well well the nominations have been added up and this is who we’ll be voting on… overall not a bad list. But let’s talk about Hercules and Love Affair getting shut out for album of the year. Was I one of the only ones who ranked it as number 1? Guess so. Anyway, Justice swept the nominations last year, but it looks like 08 was all about Little Boots. Impressive with only a few songs out there, but we agree. She was easily our most blogged artist this year since first introducing you almost a year ago….

Anyway.

Get your votes in by the end of the year. We’ll have the winners announced close to the first of the new year!

13. I think it was a good year for everybody (literally). It’s outrageous how trendy this genre has grown in the past two years. Mostly due in part to main stream success and marketability of the internet.

    Big ups to constantly evolving technologies that make it all easier.

    Regardless, here are my choices…

17. How is Sammy Bananas not on the Best DJ list?

    Seriously, if you’ve never heard/seen him DJ to a packed floor you’re missing out. I’ve never seen someone work a crowd the way he does.

    And no I’m not from any label. Just a kid that knows a talented disc jockey when he sees one.

29. Best remixer should be Adeyhawke. he did the hail social remix of “No Paradise”. That track has been on my ipod for 6 months.
