French Miami

There’s one album that has been burning down my iPod battery the past few weeks: French Miami. French ≠ touch. Miami ≠ booty bass. But no fear. French Miami’s self titled is swift and to the point and offers up plenty of right angles and perfect lyrical moments. At times it kinda feels like late 90′s nostalgia rock but balances it with some total nice contemporary tricks — and gosh, nostalgia and tricks but definitely not novelty.

But yeah, it’s one of those albums that is best heard from start to finish and really the songs make the most sense within the context of the album. But “Science Fiction” is my fav song from the album and so here it is:
