Timmy Vegas & Bad Lay-Dee’s “Another Dimension” is the guilty pleasure du jour — kinda fried today and sitting here listening to this gay house with a huge Beasty Boys sample is doing the trick. A giant robot Bad Lay-Dee makes the video.

Ah, but the original was soooo good. A defining moment of my younger years:

5. I came here to comment something similar to the person above. I wonder how old you are, saying that “Intergalactic” reminds you of your “younger years.” I was thinking how it really doesn’t seem as though it’s from that long ago .. maybe I just don’t want to think about how “old” it actually is. I remember it being on TRL when I was in middle school in the late 90s or early 2000s. AHHHHH.

11. How come NO ONE is mentioning that the other “sample” is Crystal Waters’ Gypsy Woman. Is it because it is so obvious, or is it because everyone is so young here? :o)

    • i’m going with the ’so obvious’ option..! there are also a fair few missy elliott – esq moments too… but sampling can be forgiven for cover/remix’s i guess
