Fan Death – “Veronica’s Veil” (YouTube)

I’ve been dying to see Fan Death live to see how Dandi (Wind) would be — obviously the antics of Dandi Wind (the band) wouldn’t quite work with Fan Death. Would Fan Death succeed in performance or video? If the video for “Veronica’s Veil” is any hint, then yes — maybe even more so. While they are clearly two seperate bands and identities, they share a common thread with how tightly the performance, visual elements and sound are woven. Just went from liking the band a lot to loving the band a lot. Brilliant.

5. wow – this is great and unexpected video. totally not what i thought they would do but strangely fitting. Reminds me of this crazy foreign film i once saw called TUVALU…
