Cosmetics

Cosmetics is a wonderful collaboration between S0n1ka and BigStereo friend UFO!. UFO! moved to Costa Rica for a change of lifestyle and to get some musical inspiration last year. I don’t think he imagined he would be meeting a big fan of his and musical prodigy named S0n1ka. They got along powerfully and decided to create a project together and name it Cosmetics. You might have heard some of the songs from this EP already as it has been a journey in the making, but the EP is finally being released by Sanguine Records(who also released UFO!’s well received last album).

The 5 song EP entitled ‘Cosmetic Surgery’ is a whirlwind and can be best described as a dark dancey grimey body with a synthpop skeleton. A fast paced record that can get almost anyone moving. Take a listen to this track “I’m Getting Hi”, and listen to 8-bit electro fuck the shit out of disco and motown.
