La Roux

I have to admit that I’ve been kinda obsessed with Eleanor Jackson aka La Roux ever since her “Quicksand” first popped up on Kitsune. Well, well La Roux has another brilliant track up her sleeve: “Fascination.”
“Fascination” has an awkwardness that is both beautiful and brilliant… all packed into an irresistible melody. If “Quicksand” was channeling the alien hybrid love child of Prince and Phil Collins (and I do mean that in the best way) then “Fascination” is a direct line into some Human League shit for the 2010s… or maybe even 2020s. But let’s not throw La Roux under the 80s throwback bus — there is something going on here that is totally contemporary and unique to La Roux. Genuine:

La Roux – “Fascination”
You can grab “Quicksand” of Kitsune Maison 6 and/or wait until December 15th when the single is released with remixes from autoKratz, Chateau Marmot and Beni.

how many albums does La Roux have?? And how come we always see Elly and never see Ben??

La Roux only has one album. it’s still a very young band… Elly is the public face of La Roux because she’s the singer, whereas Ben is the producer so he keeps a low profile…
