16 October 2008 :: posted by TravisFriendly Fires video for “Paris” was recently remade by Chris Sweeney — not sure what was wrong with the original, but the new take is a kaleidoscope of epic proportions and quite beautiful.
The song itself is getting a second release on XL (the original single was out last year on Moshi Moshi). Besides having a revamped chorus with backing female vocals (which are strangely missing from the new video, wtf), the single will be backed with remixes from Aeroplane, Justus Kohncke and Arto Mwambe. The Aeroplane remix is a must have… just sayin’…
