Lauren Flax

Lauren Flax was kind enough to share her debut single “You’ve Changed” with us — the single will be released on Alexander Techniques’ label DANR as a Beatport exclusive. Sia of Zero 7 fame lends her voice on the track. There’s something about the melody that kinda reminds me of classic Janet Jackson but I can’t put my finger on it.

I’ve fallen instantly and totally in love with this one — total feel good track that I hope to hear on a ton of playlists through the winter and into the spring.

Look for upcoming remixes by Junior Sanchez, Larry T, Alexander Technique, Noise Floor Crew (Angel Alanis, Lady Foursquare & Local Hero), Dre Skull, Dances With White Girls and Lauren Flax herself.

  1. Lauren Flax is the cooooooolest. Little bit love her i do :)

  2. To me this sounds like a 50% Sia track rather than a full on Lauren Flax thing.

I do get a 90’s RnB vibe too from the layered vocals.

  3. LOVE <3

  4. If only current Janet Jackson sounded like this…

  5. lauren flax is the shit. nice to see her coming out with some original productions.

  6. Don’t go chasing waterfalls. Just stick to the rivers and the lakes like you’re used to.

  7. Aren’t the chords from that darn Geico Caveman… what is that artist? something Nordic…. “… and everywhere i go, sumthin sumthin things around me…. and everything i do… ”

    bye
