This is an easy post — because everybody from 20JFG to GVB to HRO have posted Fan Death up. I must admit I didn’t pay much attention until they were everywhere and now it’s my duty… haha. But for reals. Remember when nu-rave became more about rave and less about nu? Well that’s kinda how nu-disco is becoming… less about the nu and more about the disco. And while I’m less than interested in listening to rave dissolve into fidget, I cannot wait for disco to dissolve into whatever it will dissolve into.

Anyway.

As far as all the nu-fake genres go who would have ever guessed that 2008 would end up being all about disco? But that’s the way it has shaped up.

5. you totally left me out! i am beginning to think you’ve got a problem with me. haha.

   and i had a feeling 2008 would be all about disco and was also hoping for fidget to pick up more drum & bass influences. it’s going slow though. let’s hope we are in for some big surprises soon.

7. in the 90’s, House music was about good disco. what we have in 2008 is about cheesy disco, like all the bad euro-disco from the 70’s.

9. This is no at all cheesy. I actually hate most disco but this is very classy and the vox are dark. i say down with 8 bit.

    give house another 10 years and that generation will be saying that 90s house was cheesy. at least people were playing instruments with disco.
