Mt. Sims

Mount Sims was always my favorite of the electroclash generation… in 2002, “How We Do” was the anthem all by itself, and I must’ve listened to Ultra Sex one point one million times. His sophomore release Wild Lights ended up getting a lot less play on my stereo… partly due to it’s release during a time when electronic music was a bit lost.
BUUUUT Matt Sims is back! And with a band pushing the alternative spelling — Mt. Sims. “Grave” is Sims’ most mature, fully realized release to date; dark, broody nu-goth to drown out all the glow stix. This ep makes me so hungry for a full release.
