Emiliana Torrini

It doesn’t matter which genre Emiliana Torrini decides to dip her toes into… I am always madly in love. “Me and Armini,” with touches of reggae, is her most quintessential Summer jam since her near classic “Unemployed In Summertime.” So much love for Emiliana Torrini… it’s hard not to come off as a total fanboy, but I must say what inspires my interest the most in her is there is a certain amount of humility to her lyric and music — if any other artist tried to do the same it’d come off as trite.

The song is a good idea and all, but it’s a total rip off of Lily Allen’s “Smile.”

I don’t know if it’s a rip off at all of Lily Allen, but even if it is, it’s better.
