Will we someday talk about Daft Punk’s Alive Tour in the same way our parents speak of Woodstock Live Aid? You were there or you weren’t — an experience that shouldn’t have been missed either way. Kiku Ohe managed to capture the feeling in less than two minutes on Daft Punk’s last leg in Australia. There’s something kinda poetic about this one:

EDIT: The video is now down because Modular has decided to release it later this year or something… so I guess you’ll have to wait? Typical… typical.

    'Release' what? It was just a 2 minute video collage of the concert, and it didn't even use Daft Punk music – it was Elvis(?). It was mostly close-up shots of the lighting rig reflected in people's eyes. Looked good – but…a 'release' ?

    wow, thats fucked up. I just clicked the link last night and it worked, straight to google video. I even managed to grab a 12mb .flv copy for myself. and no i don't feel guilty either. it's badass. boltz
