Bufi(pronounced boofee) from Mexico City has been tearing up my itunes for a few weeks now. Eric Lebleu hooked me up with some dates down there, hence the BigStereo mexico tour, and one of my first nights I played with Bufi and Nuuro(of which you will hear of soon). Bufi’s sound is totally in it’s own category almost like a flavored margarita cause at that point its almost a daquiri or is it? With a little bit of Erlend Øye, a little Ratatat, and a little Tom Vek(remember him?). His songs will soothe your body and give you goosebumps.

I wish I could post all of the songs I received but I just can’t. They’re all so eclectic and amazing in their own right. Let’s welcome Bufi into the world of BigStereo, he will be on here again, I promise.
