Remember all the confusion a couple years back over Zeigeist and people thought they were a secret Knife side project and stuff? Well, fast forward to now and the band is not the Knife, and they’ve finally released their debut album: The Jade Motel. Totally worth the wait. If you’ve been bored by the explosion of meritless blog house bangers then this might be the temptation your senses have been waiting for… like water in the desert.

If you make only one album purchase this year then The Jade Motel needs to be it. You can buy the album directly from Zeigeist here or at your favorite digital music store. Highly, highly recommended.

completely agree about the record, it was well worth the long wait! but: do you know anything about their strange name? spelling mistake?

Wow great post. I actually was on Zeigeist’s myspace a month or so ago I assumed they broke up. Wasn’t expecting a new album – I’m off to buy it now!

I fell in love with the Knife like 4 years ago but I just discovered this and I can’t stop thinking about it. Like a new love interest, I am hooked and hot for this band. Unfortunately, they were over before I knew.
