Ladyhawke + Alex Gopher

Modular has been gearing up Ladyhawke to be one of its biggest acts — hello Ms. Modular ’08. And the label hasn’t been shy with the remixes for her. “Back of the Van” saw mixes from Van She Tech, Mock & Toof and Fred Falke… her new single “Paris is Burning” is due out June 30th with mixes by Peaches, Kid Gloves and Alex Gopher.

We were slipped Alex Gopher’s remix and couldn’t be more thrilled. It is a hot little disco track that leaves one of the original’s best parts — hand claps! Really though, with Ladyhawke it is all about the vox. Pretty hard to do wrong to those.
