Salem

Salem has been blipping on and off the radar for a few months now. Totally bizarre — one of those bands you listen to and say, “why isn’t everyone doing this?” Like so simple and unique that a genre explosion is sure to follow after.

Salem - “Brustreet” (mp3)

You can pre-order their EP on ACEPHALEU — 7 inch limited to five hundred copies. It is gonna sell out.

Pretty sweet tune. It’s meant to be their own take on Streets of Philadelphia right?

yeah, i’ve been following the salem train for a couple of months now, although it’s been hard to find out too much concrete about them. they fortunately arrived at the tail end of my burial obsession, so have given me new fodder for late night driving sessions. very much looking forward to the EP.
