This tough guy here is none other thanVin Sol. He has been a well recognized DJ here in San Francisco for years and years, mostly in the hip-hop crowd, but has slowly started letting his guard down and is appealing to DJ’s and partygoers abound. This guy can scratch, beat match, and show you up on the deck’s no doubt. His hip-hop mentality might get him in a bit of trouble but honestly we need purists like Vin to keep us on track. I’ve become quite attached to this guy as we tend to be quite catty with each other but that’s where the real love comes out. You can frequently see us busting out in laughter, over at his honey Le Dinosaur and my happy hour Bad Habits(Saturday evenings), Margarita in hand.
He’s sent me quite a few mixes he’s done and this one has been making my shoe’s work. It’s a remix of an already classic Banger’s & Cash(Spank Rock and Benny Blanco) song with BigStereo favorite Santogold, obviously titled”B.O.O.T.A.Y.”

His Hip Hop background is clearly shining through - and I think this song is more vocal beat than anything. Needs more melody in my opinion.
I can see it’s appeal so far - but it definately has more potential.
