Little Boots

Little Boots has one of those annoying MySpace profiles with no photos or band info — which can only mean two things: either they’re ugly beyond belief or they’re some mysterious side project of some superstar band. Sounding like Moroder does Kylie, we suspect the latter might be the case. Luckily Little Boots’ “Stuck on Repeat” is so good we can look past the mysterious MySpace profile and get to the meat of the product… this track is properly name. You’ll find it will be stuck on repeat… repeat in the shower, repeat in the club, repeat on the iPod, repeat in the car. There will be no escaping…

Here’s the 411 on Little Boots:
It is Victoria, ex-lead singer of London’s
Dead Disco. She was on my radio show
last week, and we premiered this track -
which was indeed produced by Joe Goddard
of Hot Chip. She just finished recording
the rest of her CD here in LA, with Greg Kurstin
(off The Bird & The Bee).
Her MySpace player has an edited version
of our chit-chat, if ya wanna listen.
And this is from her “crap book”

Does that mean Dead Disco are no more? They made some cool tracks which should’ve done better.
