Sydney boy/girl duo WOW seem to have come up out of nowhere — and bam, hitting us upside the head with some very likable “pissed off scuzzed out computer disco punk.” Their words, not ours… but I’m not sure I could’ve come up with a more accurate description. In short WOW encompasses that signature Australia sound you already know and love: dirty synth mixed with guitar that will make you shake and dance in your skinny jeans.

Head over to WOW’s MySpace to stream “Common Species” — Metal Postcard is set to release both tracks on the bands debut 7 inch. Watch out for that.
