The Kills - “Cheap and Cheerful” (YouTube)

Omg, who is else totally psyched for the new Kills album?? It might be one of the most anticipated album on 2008 — I’m not sure if I’m more excited about hearing XXXchange’s production or new songs from The Kills.

  1. Yeah, The Kills are badass. U.R.A. Fever is awesome and so is Cheap and Cheerful. Definitely the album I’m going to be itching to get.

  2. It seems to me that this is gonna be the best album from the Kills ever.

  3. This album just gets better and better!

  4. I heard DangerMouse was remixing the Kills ….

  5. umm ok this is bad. But I do think the remixes will be great.

  6. Very disappointing. It looks like the Kills sold their tough country drawl for a misshapes guestlist. From what i’ve seen so far i’d say they’ve gone from being something honest and distinctive to being another forgettable indie band. not terrible, but i was expecting much, much better.

  7. Endearing! Yet, annoying! Dull!

  8. Oh hail the all high and mighty critics of the bigstereo comments. Please how are these songs NOT jammin. Just because it’s a departure from other stuff they’ve done doesn’t mean it’s not good.

  9. sorry, s douglas - i wasn’t aware that songs should be assessed purely on the basis of whether they are “jammin” or not. no wonder the musical value of Operator Please went straight over my head.

  10. You’re too dumb to respond to.

  11. That’s a response, isn’t it?

  12. Well my remix will be a belter.
For people who like that sort of thing.
