And cool kids belong together and all that. Cool Kids Can’t Die come to us from Italy and have a bunch of reeeeemixes for your grabby hands.
Ever since we played host to that Yelle remix contest, it seems like “Ce Jeu” remixes are popping out of the woodwork on MySpace, your Mom’s blog, etc — making Yelle the real winner. This caught my ear… maybe not the best we’ve come across so far, but certainly very easy to like:

As far as I can tell, P$YCHO FAG is like the gayboy Lady Sovereign or maybe the British Cazwell or something in between. I can’t tell. But… But like Lady Sovereign and Cazwell, I’m pretty sure this track will get on your nerves after more than one listen.

Ok, but really.. I’m saving the best for last. Cool Kids Can’t Die take Bolt Action Five in a different direction… making the band sound like they have more in common with Yelle than not:

yeah, distorted bassline music is getting boring. too many people doing it and sorry to say these bands all sound the same.
I want to say it’s well produced though, so good job on that aspect.

not gonna lie i was disappointed that it wasn’t “the Cool Kids” when i clicked!
but i think #2 is a cool mix.

chico love remix sounds like it was made on Fisher Price’s My First Disco.
Cool kids’ is alright but vocals fall out of time for a bit towards the end.
