…and then there were two. Panther has gone from a solo act to a duo with the addition of Joe Kelly on drums. The sound has shifted from sounding like a freaky art school Justin Timberlake to something a little more organic and fierce. It ends up sounding a little more legit… though never shaking its dance roots.

Panther has also moved from Fryk Beat over to Kill Rock Stars. 14kt God will be released on February 20th.
It’s cool to see what KRS is adding to their roster. I’ll be looking out for tracks from that release coming up.
In other Kill Rock Stars news Xiu Xiu’s new record Women as Lovers is being streamed in its entirety on their myspace (http://www.myspace.com/xiuxiuforlife). Don’t know if you saw this as well.
